We are delighted to announce that Macsween are the latest Scottish family firm to join FBU Scotland and we are thrilled to have them as members.
Macsween is a third generation family company established as a butchers shop in Edinburgh in the 1950's. The company has passed down through a family of natural entrepreneurs.
As James Macsween explains, "Following in our Grandfather and father's footsteps we are passionate about making the best tasting foods, prioritising environmental sustainability and recognising the importance of our people and place within the community."
Macsween start with the best ingredients and their family recipes, which are virtually unchanged in 60 years. As James adds "And just as we have always done, we hand make our products with great care. Our haggis, vegetarian haggis and black pudding are wonderfully versatile, great for all times of day and throughout the year! In 2013 the Great Taste Awards gave our haggis their highest accolade of 3 Gold Stars, making it the only haggis to have received this award."
